Desmond tried to be cheery with his class, but he still felt flustered. His forehead burned and his chest ached. The class whispered nervously and finally a girl named Alexia stepped up. “Mr. Miles, are you alright?” she asked timidly.
He was surprised, she was usually a very quite girl, and he smiled at her concern. “Yes, just a bad night sleep is all, I just need a good meal.”

The class went to lunch and Desmond was in the staff room with the principal Mr. Talbot and Ms. Redfield, one completely nasty and one like a saint. His phone buzzed in his pocket and he glanced at the screen.
